Who replies when followers message the avatar?
You do - through the avatar. Your followers know they're talking to AI. They also know there's a real human behind it shaping every answer. The point isn't to hide that someone is there; it's to keep that someone out of the spotlight while their thinking still reaches an audience.
Is this legal?
Yes. We comply with the EU AI Act's labelling rules - your audience is told the performer is AI. What stays private is which human is behind it. That's your fundamental privacy right, not a workaround.
What does "operated by DIE BERATER AG" actually mean?
Mr. & Mrs Message is a product of DIE BERATER AG, a registered German Aktiengesellschaft (HRB 223314, München). Your identity is held by the AG under a trustee contract - meaning German civil law protects the relationship. No subpoena from another jurisdiction reaches you without us first refusing on your behalf.
Can I monetise my avatar?
Absolutely. Brand deals, ad revenue, paid content - all yours. Funds route through a trust account in your name. Mr. & Mrs Message takes its flat subscription fee. We never take a percentage of your earnings.
What if my avatar becomes huge - does Mr. & Mrs Message own it?
No. You own every artefact: avatar likeness, voice model, content, audience list (where exportable). We have a custodial relationship, not an IP claim. Our terms are deliberately uncreative on this point.
Can I be "unmasked" later, if I choose?
Yes - and only by you. One signed instruction to the AG and your real identity becomes the avatar's. Many of our most-loved stories end this way: a few quiet years behind the veil, then the reveal on the user's own terms.
What happens to my data if I quit?
One click in the dashboard erases the avatar, the voice model, every generated piece, every metadata trail. The trustee record at the AG is retained per German commercial-record law (10 years) but contains nothing about your content - just that the relationship existed.
Can my employer find out?
Not through us. We don't cross-reference contact databases, we don't sell signals, and we never publicly attribute. The technical and legal posture is built around this exact concern.
How is the avatar trained?
Only on material you own or are licensed to use. We never scrape your existing platforms without permission. Voice cloning requires a 5-minute clean recording you make in our studio app.
Why do you exclude lawyers and tax advisors?
Purely to protect our community. We have documented cases on comparable platforms where individual law firms systematically target users — the cease-and-desist correspondence alone triggers RVG-mandated fees easily reaching four to five figures, even when the underlying claim turns out to be unfounded. Six legal-services professions with their own statutory fee schedules and the right to litigate in their own name (lawyers, notaries, tax advisors, auditors, patent attorneys, debt-collection providers) are therefore not eligible to use this platform — including via straw persons.
